Citizen Development Centre (CDC) is a Secular; Non profitable, registered Society. (Regd.No.9/1997). This society was started on the basis of By the patients and for the patients. We are working for the past 21 years towards the welfare and development of Leprosy affected Persons, Differently Abled, Poor destitute women & downtrodden people.

CDC is committed to the complete elimination of poverty in its service areas.

The main motto of the society is to cater to the Upliftment of ailing people and initiate service activities through them and for their enhancement. Transforming the Disabled people into potential Citizens is the ultimate aim of this society and we strongly believe in making Disabled as Abled, through proper counseling, guidance, technical training hence helping the whole family to sustain themselves.

Project Objectives

  • To provide quality training for the needy people
  • The main objective of this project is to provide training in computers / tailoring along with Functional English, Personality Development, Career Guidance classes and assisting them with Job placement.
  • Increasing the competency of the Individuals
  • Changing the Socio economic status of the needy people
  • Creating job opportunity for unemployed.
  • Inculcating social action and social responsibility in the minds of the trainees.
